Science - reread and took notes on What Evidence Shows That the Sun’s Path through the Sky Is Predictable or Unpredictable? Completed When's the Shadow There? activity,.   Read, highlighted, and took notes on Constellations.  Completed Constellations activity.

Reading reviewed the vocabulary words from workbook page 68 and 69.  Completed workbook page 70 and 71.

Social Studies - Read over and discussed pages -104-109 

Math - Today we defined the vocabulary words for chapter 9 in our copybooks.  Please get them from a friend if you were out today.

Homework - Go outside tonight and look up at the planets and constellations.  There are 7 planets in the sky 5 visible with the naked eye.

Religion - Today we took notes on how to answer a saint reflection using the beatitudes.  Please copy the notes from a friend.  We then wrote a sample reflection and shared possible responses.

Religion - read and discussed pages 139 and 140. In the back of the ELA copybook - copy the Beatitude and then write what it means in your own words .  See the chart on page 140 to help you. Do not copy the meaning from the book, you need to write it in your own words so that you remember them.

Science- 4th grade - Exploring Space- Seasons- Engage   Read Reasons for the Seasons. Watch videos The Four Seasons - Video Segment Solstice .  Define equator, position, and hemisphere along with key concepts.

Social Studies -  Reviewed the First Seminole War.  Reread and highlighted pages 96 and 97.

Apostles Creed Due - Feb. 28th

An email is scheduled to be sent at 4:00 in regards to field trip chaperones.

 Happy Friday Everyone!  The children have been working very hard this week working on  the Terra Nova!  We will complete the test on Monday.

Thank you very everyone for returning the field trip information to us.  We will be sending home the chaperone information next week, once we have clearance on the names and they are chosen.

  AR Forms to be signed and returned.  Please be sure to check the blue folder for AR information and your child's third trimester specific goals. The bottom portion of the form should be could off and returned in the blue folder on Monday.

 We had a wonderful and exciting day with our 8th grade teachers, Mr. Lucas and Mr. Alejandro!  They prepared fun and exciting lessons to help us review what we have been learning in class.

Math - reviewed addition, subtraction, and multiplication problems

Science - reviewed galaxies and the children drew a galaxy
